Project Description
GSA provided landscape site design for a strategically located 1.5 ac residential project facing the Sanjay Gandhi Natural Park within the suburbs of Mumbai, India.
The project included three 21 storey residential towers positioned above a 3 storey podium. The contemporary architectural design language of the development is reflected on top of the 3 storey podium through a series of parallel paving and planting bands that are consistent with the project’s architectural modularity.
Patterning of landscape materials provides for a seamless integration of the interior and exterior spaces of the building. The landscape design provides a variety of amenities such as a skating area, multi-purpose play court, party lawn, and a children’s play area.
Features on top of the 3 storey podium such as palm trees, flower gardens, sculptures, fountains, and seating areas help to create an animated and intimate area. Additionally, GSA designed the upper roof terrace that created and optimized dynamic views of the surrounding mountains from a variety of smaller gathering spaces.
