Project Description
Victoria Bay is one of the most prominent places in Hong Kong but faces connectivity issues with surrounding urban areas and Victoria Park. GSA prepared a Waterfront Park Design for Victoria Bay through analyzing existing conditions, accessibility to the harbor, local community needs and planning context of the district.
GSA’s design team prepared a proposal to improve pedestrian connectivity from the surrounding areas and the harbor front landscape environment. Key design features of the proposal were to extend Victoria Park towards Victoria Bay through landscape design. Planning and design strategies were established to create Victoria Bay Waterfront Park as the district identity of “One Bay One Harbor”.
